With the few examples you will read below, you will realize how many thing you can do with salt beyond flavouring your food.

  • In order to make a nice coffee, don’t forget to add a pinch of salt in your coffee maker before adding water.
  • Do not bother if you have added too much salt in your food, add a peeled potato and your food will no longer be salty.
  • To avoid having your sink clogged, pour some boiling water with some salt.
  • For a better result, in your soups and vegetables add salt at the beginning of the cooking, whereas in your meat at the end.
  • Make tea and coffee stains disappear from the pots by rubbing them with salt.
  • If your flowers have withered in the jar, make them lively again by changing the water and adding some salt.
  • Do you know how to scale fish easier? Just sprinkle it with thin salt before you begin.
  • If you do not want your new jeans to bleach in the washing, here is a simple solution. Dip it into salted water for 12 hours.
  • In order for you remove the egg’s shell easily, add some salt while boiling it
  • If you want to remove rust stains, cover them with a mixture of lemon juice and salt, leave them in the sun for a while and then rinse.
